Raised in Brookings, South Dakota, Troy Williams graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (BFA) in 2002. He is the recipient of a 2003/04 Jerome Emerging Artist Fellowship. His works have been exhibited in Minneapolis at Intermedia Arts and the Minnesota Center for Photography, in Chicago at the Museum of Contemporary Photography and Art Boat for 1/Quarterly Space, and at MUDIMAdrie Gallery in Antwerp, Belgium. He lives and works in New York.
